Description
These are used extensively on Data East, Williams, and Bally.
They hold down the flipper return double stacked lane guides, and artwork plastic.(see photo gallery)
Usually they screw into a tee nut on the underside of playfield.
Between the left and right side return lanes, in total 6 are used.
The assembly line used locktite on these, as a result on a playfield teardown usually 1 or more break, or bend.
I always change them all out with these new 6/32 x 3″, and don’t forget to add some matching t-nuts, as many strip out of the playfield during removal, due to the locktite.
