Description
Here is a 1979 Williams Stellar wars widebody pin.
I’m offering this title as is, a non working project.
THE GOOD:
The game is complete.
There are no burnt solenoids.
The cabinet is structurally sound.
Cabinet paint and art is decent, lots of paint flaking on the edge of the backbox.
Both the cpu and driver board look clean.
Play field will clean up nicely, with minimal wear, as pictured.
THE BAD
Assume that one of the bridge rectifiers are bad, as the AC wiring on the supply side, is burnt-up, as pictured. This is the issue with Williams system 3-7 your mother has warned you about. A well documented design flaw, that can cause a house fire if you have over fused either the solenoid and/or controlled lamp circuit; and the circuits bridge shorts.
There is a upgrade kit to fix this flaw, that can be purchased on this site: Search “Williams Upgrade”
So there are some wires that need to be replaced, as pictured, it caused some damage to the power board too.
After you have that fixed, with proper output voltage to your CPU, then you will know if it boots, and fix other issues, if/or as found.
There are three wires pull out from their Molex connector, and the connector is missing.
Fun, right!
The backglass is eh, ok.
Display status unknown, but they don’t look burnt.
Legs are included.
