This kit will fit Williams from 1980 Firepower up to and including 1991 Hurricane.
This kit will fit Bally/Midway from 1988 Truck Stop (lower set only) up to and including 1991 Gilligan’s Island.
Notes:
From 1980 Firepower to 1983 Joust Williams has a “one piece” flipper base, meaning, the coil stop was part of the base plate. (see photo gallery) In this kit you will receive a coil stop that you cannot use. But, know this, the newer style base plate (with the removable coil stop) has the very same 8 screw mounting footprint, as the one piece. So, you can change the old ones out, for the newer. There are a few multi-level titles where slight modification of the lower playfield cutout is required. If your game still has the old style, one piece, you should change it, as eventually they all develop fatigue cracks along the stop curve; plus it makes future flipper service much easier!
Flippers during this time period always used a tapered plunger link; this should always be paired with the A-12111 coil stop for proper flipper rotation!
The 2.2mf non-polarized (np) yellow suppression capacitor started with Williams on 1987’s Fire, and Bally /Midway’s 1988 Truck Stop.
If you have a upper Left/Right flipper(s) you made need/want to replace the secondary from-a-switch, (SW-1A-183) which is stacked behind the main EOS. Some upper flipper activation switches are mounted on the cabinet flipper switch, and some on the flipper assembly it’s self.
Likewise you may want to change the cabinet flipper activation switches, as they are often overlooked, and worn out.

If you have weak flippers I do suggest that you order new flipper bat/shaft (white or yellow), and change them when you rebuild your flippers. Part number can be found under “optional” list.
