Big Game 1980 Stern 2-Stage Pinball Restoration

The Big Game restoration is progressing. Electronics are being upgraded. Some photos included of the power/rectifier board being upgraded.

Cabinet has been stripped down, and a few minor touch-ups being completed. Cabinet insert board have been stripped of components, so they could be painted.

The playfield side rails were repainted same color as the insert boards.

All metal is off to the sandblast powder coat station.

Underside of playfield has been cleaned, harness tightened up.

Topside of playfield has been stripped, scrubbed, then paint touch-ups completed, and finally cleared with 2-part automotive clear.

All playfield metal has been tumble polished.

Now working on rebuilding the solenoid assemblies.

Hi Devron, I picked up the Buckaroo yesterday at the airport and got it put together this evening. It made it through the trip in great shape, thanks to your great crating job! Nothing was able to shift or get loose and you did a fantastic packing job! The machine looks and plays great! The new backglass arrived last week so I have to put it in to make it look even better. If you want to buy a pinball machine without the fear of inheriting someone else's problem – buy from Devron. He is meticulous in his restoration of machines and will never let anything go out the door unless it is 100%. I have seen the results of his work on many occasions and I am always amazed at the quality, and attention to detail.
