Upper playfield is built out to the testing stage, just need to add the rubber.
Underside of playfield has had all the rebuilt solenoid assemblies attached.
The plunger links on the slingshots, and big kick were very sloppy, due to having elongated around the roll pin; this will always happen with time, and plays. End result, is they will be weak. Part 03-8085 is the replacement arrowhead link, for this era of pin.
Main cabinet body is still in the paint booth, and should be completed by early next week. Did a light sandback after 5 passes of the base coat of gloss black, then a final finish coat, made it feel like silk.
As with all full restorations, the underside was painted, and cleared first; then the interior of the cabinet, then the full main body.
Then clear the back and riser, and tape them off, once cured.
After all that is taped off, then the main sides and front.
Finally, one side at a time, then the front are done with the secondary colors, using the stencils.
Some photos added of old to new ramp comparisons, taken during the hardware changeover.
Stay tuned.
