Working on a 2-stage restoration of a 1979 Gottlieb Solar Ride.
During a 2-stage the cabinet is not repainted, but it will receive some touch ups, and then be sealed with 5-passes of acrylic enamel, to protect the paint from scuffs.
Acrylic Enamel clear will never yellow with time, unlike Lacquer.
Playfield was stripped, cleaned, touched up, and then sealed with a 2-stage automotive clear coat, so it will never degrade, from this point in time.
All solenoid assemblies were removed, cleaned, and rebuilt with new components.
All cabinet, and playfield metal components were removed, stripped down, then bead blasted; and finally powder coated, in a micro metallic silver finish.
All playfield topside, underside, and cabinet metal that is too small to powder coat, has been tumble polished for over a week, so it all looks new.
All playfield plastics have been washed, or tumble washed. to remove the 47 years of grime.
The driver board, and power supply will be the rebuilt original, but the CPU will be a new Flipp from France.
The player displays will all be new LED.
All GI, and playfield lamps will be color matching frosted dome LED.
This pin is not spoken for, and is available for purchase.
Price after 2-stage restoration is $3790.
