Two asking prices.
First, and lowest for as is condition, you do your own restore.
Second, and highest asking price is based on the pin being refurbished to “High End Player Quality” condition.
The photos in the gallery, at present, show the pin in it’s current condition.
Major work that will be done on this unit as follows:
As described in the “Restoration Process” on this site; this pin will receive two of the three steps. Those being a complete board-set, and playfield restoration.
The cabinet, except for a few paint touch-ups, will be left as is. If this is the PIN FOR YOU, and you want a full Cabinet restoration, it can be done, just be aware the asking price offered here does not include such work.
All the metal will be sandblasted, and powder coated, I’m thinking a micro metallic light sky blue, but if your ordering the pin, choose your own color.
The playfield will be stripped bare, topside and underside. The old faded, and scratched Mylar coating will be removed, and small finish touch-ups done. Once completed, it will receive four coats of 2-part automotive clear coat.
All the electronics will be updated, and many old connectors, and capacitors changed, so the unit is reliable. As pictured, there CPU and driver board are missing, so they will be replaced with new, aftermarket Ni-Wumpf product.
All playfield metal posts, and such, will be polished in a tumbler with a special medium, for over 1 week, and the result is they will look new.
All mechanical components will be disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt to original specifications.
All #47 & #555 bulbs will be changed to color matching 2-SMD frosted, high intensity “Absolute” brand. All back box bulbs will usually be cool AKA natural white. Likewise, most all playfield General Illumination (GI) will also be Cool White. Unlike Warm White, which has a red hue, cool white is pure white, and will illuminate the playfield much better.
The existing backglass will have the player display windows taped off, then misted / sealed with acrylic enamel clear to prevent any further degradation.
Notable Features: Flippers (4), Pop bumpers (2), Star rollovers (4), Standup targets (2), 3-bank drop targets (2), 4-bank drop targets (1), Spinning target (1). The white target and yellow targets are reset by one coil and the purple targets are reset by a separate coil. Each side of the spinning target depicts a sword but they are oriented differently from each other to allow the target when spinning to give the effect of crossed swords.
