If your refurbishing, or have refurbished your pinball, then this is a great addition; as it adds that final touch.
These have been sandblasted, and powder coated with a metallic silver/grey.
This fits the last generation of Gottlieb Electrical Mechanical (EM) pins.
This model comes complete with the removable slide off lid.
Note, the offset on the center chute coin drop cut out.
It also has the longer length handle, that measures 6″ long.
The photo gallery has a few photos (last 3) that will show the differences between the two versions of this Gottlieb Coin Box.
Note the differences, as the dimensional sizing is the same!
–This one has rolled edges on the left and right ends to accommodate a lid that slides forward for removal.(For EM’S)
–This handle measures 6″ long, and only 4-1/4″ on the unit that fits the System-1 & Star 80’s.
–The handle on this unit sits much higher on the front, starting 1-5/8″ from the bottom, compared to the System-1 & Start 80’s version which starts at 3/4″ from the bottom edge.
I offer a refinished coin box for the “System-1 & Star 80’S version as well.
NOTE: If you try to put a EM version in a System-1 or Star 80 Series pin, it will fit, but you won’t be able to close the coin door, as the handle sits too high.
BUT, either version will fit into a EM.
